Essential Concepts for the Exam
Light strikes the earth at various angles, depending on the position of the earth in its revolution around the sun. Direct sunlight causes warmer temperatures (and summer season) while indirect sunlight doesn't warm the earth as much and causes cooler temperatures (such as winter).
The Earth's tilt is what causes different seasons through the year, allowing sunlight to strike the Earth at different angles. |
